Eric M. Robinson is a professional freelance photographer based in Europe and travels between homes in Italy and Germany.

Originally from New York City, his interest in photography developed as he began to assist commercial photographers in Manhattan in his teens. Studying photography on both US coasts, his work and interests are broad based.

His range extends from corporate reports and editorial for global firms, through travel, and documentary work on social issues.

A personal interest in interpretive expression is present.

Many images on this site are excerpts from assignments.

Although he uses digital for much work, he continues to shoot film, especially black and white, believing strongly in the professional co-existence of the two.

For personal work, he is still influenced by classic 20th century photojournalism, and strives to create the " gritty " feeling that has always added an extra depth and dimension, and maintain the " film " feeling sometimes lost in the digital world.
